Warner Bros. and MSN Movies have released what I believe is the first official trailer for the forthcoming film The Losers, starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana and Chris Evans, and adapted from the Vertigo comic-book series from writer Andy Diggle and artist Jock.
An explosive tale of double cross and revenge, "The Losers" centers upon the members of an elite U.S. Special Forces unit sent into the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. The team - Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar - find themselves the target of a lethal betrayal instigated from inside by a powerful enemy known only as Max. Presumed dead, the group makes plans to even the score when they're joined by the mysterious Aisha, a beautiful operative with her own agenda. Working together, they must remain deep undercover while tracking the heavily-guarded Max, a ruthless man bent on embroiling the world in a new high-tech global war.

This looks like such a great film, I’m really looking forward to seeing it, and first impression from the trailers is that it is going to leave the A-Team way behind in the shade. If you’re wondering, I feel compelled to compare he two films as they seem to have the similar theme of guns for hire, wanted by their government at the root of their stories. I can’t help but feel that The Losers is the film that the A-Team wants to be, yet fell quite short of achieving. I maybe proved wrong when they are both released at the cinema; however I know where I’m putting my money when it comes to buying the tickets.
