Comic Expo Exeter - February 2011

As always my thanks to Mike at Fantasy Events UK for news on one of their upcoming fantastic events - Comic EXpo EXeter returns on Sunday 20 February 2011 as part of the annual Animated Exeter Festival.


I've said before just how much I enjoy this event: relaxed and intimate the day always features a strong line up of creative talent ... and the February 2011 event looks like being no different in this regard.

Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Watchmen the Guest of Honour will be John Higgins. Also already confirmed to appear are Lee Garbett, Dom Reardon, Lee O'Connor, Shaky Kane and Sally Hurst.

Held once again at the wonderful 4-Star Southgate Mercure Hotel in the beautiful Exeter city centre Comic EXpo EXeter 2011 will also see a debut appearance from friend of, and regular contributor to, Escape from Tomorrow Simon Breeze who I'm very much looking forward to spending some time with during the day.

In addition to the talented creators there will be a Small Press Showcase, numerous dealers, Expo giveaways and much more. Admission is just £2 with under 12's admitted free with a paying adult. The doors open at 11am and the day wraps up at 4pm.
